Jade Young Talya

Jade is a graduate student at the University of Florida, set to receive an MFA in Theatre with a concentration in Acting in May 2025. Prior to this, Jade earned a Bachelor's degree in Drama with a minor in American Sign Language from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Working on "The LeftEarlies" has been life-changing for Jade, and she carries its wisdom with her every day. She is infinitely grateful to Amy for her bravery, guidance, and the incandescent light she carries. Thank you for teaching all of us to trust the route we're on.

Rosalyn Smith Stover Older Talya

The executive director of a children’s advocacy and sexual violence resource center. She teaches and serves individuals, and organizations in the areas of leadership, organizational change, anti-oppression, trauma, and violence prevention. Rosalyn utilizes the arts to create healing experiences, expose and remedy injustices, incite dialogue, and inspire action while disrupting the status quo. She is the founder and artistic director of Act Up Drama Inc., an applied theater center located in South Carolina.


DESIGN

Carolina Perez Sound Design & Music

An Assistant Professor of Music at the University of North Carolina at Asheville. She holds at M.F.A. in Sound Design from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. Carolina is grateful to be back in Winston-Salem and excited to be part of this original production.
